HUBUNGAN INDEKS MASSA TUBUH DAN TINGKAT KADAR ASAM URAT TERHADAP KEJADIAN PROBLEM SENDI PADA PENDUDUK UMUR 25 – 65 TAHUN DI KELURAHAN DUREN SAWIT JAKARTA TIMUR TAHUN 2012

Abstract

This study was to evaluate the correlation Body Mass Index and Uric Acid level on incident prevalence of joint problem on community with age between 25-65 years old in Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta 2012. A cross sectional design with the one group consisting of 104 subject. Body mass index calculate by the WHO and the uric acid level calculated by the laboratory test. The study showed correlation (p<0,02) between Body Mass Index with incident of joint problem and showed there is correlation also between uric acid level on incident of joint problem (p>0.027). the body mass index and uric acid level have correlation on incident prevalence of joint problem in age between 25-65 years ol
